CMM Operator/ Dimensional Inspector
PMF Industries, Inc., a high precision contract manufacturer for over 40 years, specializing in stainless and other formable metals and alloy fabrications used in aerospace, medical, pharmaceutical, food processing and defense, is seeking a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Operator/ Dimensional Inspector. Responsibilities include programming and operating the three dimensional CMM, performing first piece and in process inspection of parts, and analyzing inspection data for compliance to quality requirements and customer specifications. Qualified candidates should have dimensional inspection experience with skill and training in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), be able to interpret blueprints and use precision measuring equipment and understand GD&T interpretations and algorithm adjustments, work independently with minimal supervision, and have worked with CMM and Solidworks programs and can demonstrate computer skills and knowledge of using a PC and related software. A Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or its equivalent is preferred. Experienced CNC Machinist for second shift offering a four-day workweek with initial training provided on first shift. Qualified candidate must be able to manage multiple projects, working independently to complete complex set-ups and operate CNC lathes, vertical and horizontal machining centers. Minimum of 5 years CNC programming and multi-axis machine operating experience is required. Job Description:
PMF Industries, Inc., is a contract job shop specializing in stainless steel and heat resistant alloy fabrications for use in aerospace, medical, pharmaceutical, food processing and the military. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our engineering department. Responsibilities include the development/analysis of customer specified products, the processing customer quotations, the design of method of manufacturing and drawings for new products, and providing customers with ongoing technical support. The responsibilities also include designing of tooling/fixturing for press forming, machining and welding process. Strong knowledge of computer deep drawing analysis program (Deform) is required. The successful candidate must work closely with production and quality assurance, become involved in all engineering and technical-related activities of the company, and be able to manage several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision. A qualified individual must have prior experience working with geometric tolerancing, Cadkey, Solidworks, Excel, MS Outlook, and Word. This position requires a person with excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the willingness to work in a team environment. A degree in engineering (bachelor or associate) with a minimum of three years experience in metal forming, or related industry, is required.
